Can anyone recommend a repair shop in the northeast that does a good job in adjusting/reparing the Kalart rangefinder and has a reasonable turnaround time? (Yes, I have the instructions and have tried doing it myself in the past. Based on that unhappy experience I'd rather get help from someone who knows what he's doing.)

Well there's always SK Grimes. I don't know if they would do it, no idea what they would charge, but you could ask.

Thanks for your reply. I'm familiar with the SK Grimes crew and have done business with them on a number of occasions going back to when Steve was still around. At this point, their focus is really shutters and custom machine work.

Depending on the problem I may be able to fix it for you if you were to ship it to me. If parts are broken/missing I cannot/will not attempt to fix, if out of adjustment, bad mirrors then I can fix it. Price discussion and address to be handled by the private message function. I'm not out for business, just good and offering the service if wanted.
