				| How is a Crown Graphic Special different from a Pacemaker Crown Graphic? It appears it be the last of the cameras made while owned by Singer, but are there any differences in features? | |

				| Two things distingquish a Crown Special from a normal Crown.
 1. It used a Schneider Xenar* lens, which made it...

 2. Cheaper. By using this lens the outfit was about $10-15 cheaper than an Optar or Ektar equiped Crown.

*Through the 60s the Xenar was used, but late in the game the Rodenstock Ysarex in a Copal replaced the Xenar. The Crown Special did exist as a catalog order number in the 50s but the rubber stamp on the lens board didn't show up until the 60s. There were ads touting the Special along with the Graflite Jr. as an inexpensive way to move into 4x5.
