I have a 4x5 Pacemaker Speed with a spring back, and wold like to swap it for a graflok back, in order to use the accessories only usable with a graflok back (i.e. a Grafmatic or roll film holder). My question is, can i just buy a junker speed or crown with a graflok back and just swap them, or is there something else to it i am not thinking of?

| AFAIK, all "Graflok" backs for a given format are the same, so you can remove one from a parts camera and install it on yours. I suspect that many of the "Grafloks" that are offered ******* are removed from cameras -- if the seller can do it, you can, too. |

A few screws and 15 minutes - you're set to go. By the way, Grafmatics will fit under your spring back.
